The first company that makes an hkc type saw that works on my festool tracks as well (obviously they would have to mirror the FSK rails) I am going to sell mine and get it. I love the HKC saw except the blade is on the wrong side.
 
John5, the HKC does work with the standard Festool tracks.  You may have to adjust the blade offset to match the TSs but other wise it is made to use either style track.
 
yes i have it.....blade is on the wrong side of the saw. If someone made one with the blade on the opposite side i would buy it immediately

It gets more ridiculous with every year that passes!!?? WTF?  HOW have they not decided/managed to do this yet? I just don't get it. . .
 
A 18 v planer is much needed ive just bought a Dewalt until it happens and a 18v mitre saw  As this would be a-nice addition  to the line up and possibly a cordless vac it has to be said dewalt really have a great line up of cordless tools at the moment

You can attach the left side kapex extension to the mft. You might have to cut a little off of the mft fence to get them to mate seamlessly.

So I followed exactly the instruction and yes Festool should not bother making a longer fence for the MFT/3... Thanks
 
Precisio CS70 in a VL format to fit the MFT table and use the MFT sliding table accessory.
 
Any of a hundred odd suggestions raised on here every year all of which follow the general idea of 'if this is a system why do I get to this part in the process and then have to resort to (bosch/dewalt/mafell/makita/other/noname) just to finish'?

The list is horrendous from systainer inserts missing places for very obvious items (CXS no attic lid ... REALLY?) or a huge multitude of bits that just don't exist in centrotec - spade bits - pilot bits below 3mm - hinge guide bits - a range of countersink bits with adjustable stops TC cutters and no marr rings - auger bits etc etc And yes I have many of these from 3rd parties trend (snappy) axsminster fisch but it is astounding that Festool develop a format with all the costs associated with that, make the case for it's superiority, and then undermine any possibility of it's success by not presenting a multitude of bits they could make yet more profit from!!!

And that's not to mention spare components and two new systainers designed to take two kits of bits say all the cabinetry related or a whole series of specialist sets VDE for example? It's not like wera and fisch don't make any of this already!

Their amazingly unteutonic lack of attention to detail is staggering and undermines the very essence of the 'system' they themselves don't really seem to understand. Anyway rant over... b r e a t h e : [big grin]

The system is already to big and unmanageable to even think of adding more to it.
