Fill in the blank: I wish Festool made a ______!

I wish Festool greatly expanded their 12v line.  Jigsaw, impact driver and planer to name a few of the tools which would complement the CXS and TXS rather well.

A Bluetooth integrated battery for the cordless sanders. Was a little surprised to find out today that the current line can't trigger a Bluetooth-enabled vac. Though I understand the appeal of a non-tethered-by-anything sander, and I guess the BT remote button is almost as good.

A USB charger module to fit on a 18v 6ah battery so that I could have recharged my phone when it died on me this afternoon

They do; part number 202113 (or 202112 in the UK?). This adaptor has a couple of other features too, which you may, or may not, use.

Yeah! This seems like it could easily be produced (who cares where) and sold. Would make GREAT extra use for my 8+ festool batteries. I feel like festool might be the only notable tool line without this bonus product. Excluding the £150 sys rock option for usb charging. . . . . [eek] [eek]

A trim router intended for CNC operation:

- narrow (~43mm diameter like the Kress 800-FME)
- cylindrical body which is easily clamped
- large collet, at least up to 1/2" (ER-20 would be nice, as opposed to something proprietary) --- the largest collet option for the smaller/lighter trim routers seems to be a 3/8"
- brushless motor with variable speed --- something like the 10,000--30,000 RPM the Makita affords would be fine, though the higher speeds aren't needed, and lower ones, if they could be achieved w/ suitable torque, would be welcome
- as powerful as one can get out of a 15A 110V outlet in the U.S. --- I'd be fine w/ using a dedicated circuit

The interesting part about this request is that Festool apparently does supply the router component used in the Shaper Origin.

A trim router "as powerful as one can get out of a 15A 110V outlet" and "large collet, at least up to 1/2"?
At 1700W this will not be a trim router.
Brushless AC motor in a power tool? Doubt it.

Cordless Kapex 60.
I'm betting that theres one in the pipeline as theres several manufacturers making cordless sliding compound mitre saws and the 60 looks a nice size to do it with.
Jobsites are going cordless and to ignore it is a massive mistake.

A robot vacuum, it would be great for large shop or small hangars. Hepa filter and auto charging

All the accessories available in Europe available here, non-powered accessories should be a no brainer, ig:SYS 1 ce-sort, ratchet kit, me-1000, tables to make track saw a table saw, gig saw table, etc.

[member=4668]BMH[/member] - NILFISK Advance  in Minnesota may well have something like that in their institutional line up or at least on their product development roadmap.
Warehouses are an obvious market to drive demand for something "un-manned" like that.

I wish Festool supply brand new tools with a set to start working immediately

I wish Festool makes an impact wrench

I wish Festool add led option on EVERY tools

I wish Festool makes a drill press :)

Fewer tools with more effort put into improving and enhancing existing tools instead of maintaining a huge catalog of tools and accessories. There are plenty of other manufacturers to fill in the gaps now and they will be there if the catalog is pruned.

I wish Festool could come up with a conversion or add-on kit that would allow the DF 500 to cut thicker/deeper mortises (no need to be as deep as the deepest ones like the DF700's) for those few occasions that one may use a longer/thicker domino. May be someone outside Festool has already been looking into that! I could expect a huge demand for that add-on, if available, from existing DF500 users.

I guess they have that stace that this already exists in the form of the DF 700 XL, so I wouldn't get my hopes up on that.
