I received my MFT 1080 and TS55 EQ yesterday.  My compliments to the shipping staff at Hafele Canada as this stuff was packaged VERY well, was steel strapped to a pallet and arrived at a local shipping depot that has the reputation for kid glove handling.  As on other forums, because "no pictures means didn't happen,"  here's a quick pick before setup.

Cheers!

Unfortunately for you mot (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) this is not the end because your MFT got delivered.  This is only the beginning.  Until you can photograph and print the entire Festool catalog from your own shop, you will continue to experience the radical symptoms about which you wrote earlier.  I suggest that in between setup of the MFT, you get to the Festool catalog or website and place your next order.  Experience has shown that waiting too long between orders produces withdrawal symptoms that make detox look like a cakewalk.  As between withdrawal and drooling fits, only one is preferable.  I leave it to you to judge.

;D

A Domino and starter kit is being shipped as we speak. I'm good for another 7 or 8 days!  ;D

mot, Sorry to hear about your down fall, hope you have another job, I just started my 3rd full time job to support my Festie habit, I need a 12 step program badly...

Hi mot,
most excellent purchases (though I would have bought the TS75) and you'll get tunzafun from them. Never had a better saw  :)
But ya gotta admit, it does look like an Ikea kit ;D ;D. Hope you have a good set of Allen keys!

Great woodworking to you,

Albert.
