I've got to replace a Sapele Dutch door on my garage.
It's on the SC coast and east facing with little shade so it gets hammered by the sun.
The original finish was a minwax stain and not sure of the top coat.
As you can see the finish is bleached out and the center panel has expanded and warped.
The panel I can deal with, but I'd like some ideas for a semigloss finish that will stand up better to the elements
