After much research on the FOG about tips and best advice on using my new Domino 500, I produced this simple piece of furniture for a local client but it's destined for their holiday home in Cornwall.
They purchased some furniture from a large supplier but couldn't find a media unit to match.
Timber is locally sourced oak boards 120mm by 20mm all match planed etc and edge jointed using 8x40 dominos at 150mm centres
Mitre corners and mid support are 5x30 dominos at same centres biased to internal face.
There are only 4 mechanical fasteners and that's for the stainless legs.
Finish is 6 coats of "Danish Oil".
I also made 6 coasters as an "added value" from the off cuts.
The domino was great to use and has me thinking of many ways to utilise the machine in more everyday projects.
Thanks to all the members for all the tips and tricks I used to make the learning curve as short as possible.
