We had the opportunity to showcase the new RG130 for the Floorlayers Local here in Vancouver. This tool eats paint, varnish, concrete, anything you can throw at it. The flooring instructors were quick to point out the lack of dust and the lack of the typical "burning smell" associated with brush wheels on a drum sander or other workarounds. Get the right tool for the job!

Does this thing have a depth limiter? Without some form of depth limit, this thing could wreak holy hell on whatever surface it attacked

The silver shroud seems to also be a depth adjustment shoe designed to stay parallel to the abrasive disk.

That's exactly right. The removable silver ring has a sliding depth adjustment feature that allows accurate, repeatable results. Thanks!!
