Just wanted to say hi from the North of England. Summer has definately finished here and the fire has just been lit today in our workshop. Anyway look forward to contributing and hopefully helping a few folk along the way  [smile]

Hello, and welcome to the forum. It looks like you are a Festool dealer in the UK, so I have marked your account accordingly.

Welcome!

Good to see a Fezzie retailer.  Your site has all good stuff not dewalt lol You sell wood be good deal buy a few tools and get a free oak plank lol jokes.

I jst went on your site I saw the Bessy stanley knife wood affect looks just like mine but with out the thumb cushion and looks like it doesnt have a spare blade compartment but it looks nicer!  Mine is red  good knifes unfortunately I lost mine so I went out and bought another one from aximinster but unfortunately for me the Bessy knifes have gone down hill I had to go through 4 Bessy knifes to find one which wasnt faulty they all had some kind of fault mainly the bit which holds the blade it wouldnt clip and hold the blade. The other was the realise trigger to get to the spare blades it was set in so far you had to use your nail to get it open. The thing is I like the knife good knifes if its fualt free lol.  Axminister sent me two in the end and only charged me for one dont know if it was by mistake or just a friendly gesture but they told me they are not going to order any more of the knifes in and only had one left.

Welcome to the forum, and I'd like to add that it's a pleasure to see a UK Festool dealer here.

Sadly I'm unlikely to be in your neck of the woods anytime soon; I don't venture much to the frozen North but stay safely where I can live in shorts and T shirt most of the year...

Thanks guys!

@jmbfestool, I'm sure Axminster sent you two on purpose, they're good guys like that...We deal with them regularly! There's a free oak beam in the post ;)

@shane holland, Thanks for the markup. Yes we are a dealer but we're also a grouop of devoted Festool users  ;)

@roseland, I'd like to argue with you but I had to bust out the thermals this morning!

@woodguy7, Not sure maybe TTguy or something along those lines, I'll answer to anything so long as it's not abusive!

[welcome]

I think I'll just call you Fred! [big grin]

Looking forward to your posts, and those of your merry band,  ;D

Rob.

Fred came from the town of Bedrock.  Friend of Barney, husband to Wilma.  Everybody knows that!

I got to calling people Fred from this old song.
