First time with dust extractor

Today was supposed to be my grand first usage of the Festool tools…and now I need help.

The dust extractor CT 36E, is there some other button or should it really be as easy an insert dust bag.  Close kid back down, latch it.  Plug cord into operating outlet and turn the dial from off to either manual or auto.
The house outlet works, plugged my ETS into it and it runs.
The ETS does not run when plugged into my CT 36E.

Am I missing anything in the set up.  Hepa filter is seated correctly.  Dust Bag is seated according to operating manual.  Unit is latched.  Outlet works, tested with other tools also.  Do not have Bluetooth setup.  Hose is inserted into extractor.  Tried turning suction knob up and down when in both manual and auto.  Nothing. ☹️

What am I missing?

Thanks,
Paul

Does the vac itself work, when switched to 'manual'?
Is the bag installed correctly - the cardboard collar should 'click' into place.
Have you tried pressing the circuit breaker reset button?

Vac does not work by itself.
Filter all clicked in.

Circuit breaker reset button?  No idea where it is.  Will try that, but no idea of its location.  Any directions to the location of it.

Thanks.

From memory, it's on the front control panel, above the outlet. Has a clear plastic bubble over it.

No button there, just a hard cover where a button could be placed.
Front of unit only has 3 things.  Plug for a tool, suction adjustment dial and a knob for off, manual, on setting.  All the other places where things could be placed have a cover over them.

Thanks.

Ok, I'm in 240v land, so maybe the 110v extractors don't have it.
Have you tried this:  https://www.festoolusa.com/tutorials/ct-mini-midi/socket-fuse

No luck with unplugging unit, waiting a while and plugging back in.  Guess a call to their help desk tomorrow and a warranty repair.  Mighty disappointed as I have 2 saws, 2 sanders, etc all accumulated over the last 4 months and this is the first time I plugged in a Festool tool and it failed me.
I guess test every tool as soon as it arrives.
