I purchased my CT SYS a few years ago and have been using it more than my CT26 mostly because I've been doing a lot of work outside and my CT26 is kind of landlocked in my garage.

The CT SYS has been working fantastic but I have been noticing that it gets plugged up quite a bit faster these days. And by plugged up I mean it makes that weird sound like a pressure valve is opening and closing. I open it up and the bag is only about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Is this normal? And what do most of you do when the bag fills up? I've seen some folks who use another vacuum to suck it out or just scrunch it up and dump out the dust into your garbage can. Or do you just slap in a new bag?

Thanks in advance~

Clean the filter regularly for sure.
It took me a few times to figure this out but it could be an issue for you as well. Mine would make that weird sound like it was full as well. When opened up it looked full because the hole going into the bag was totally closed / full. However, when I pulled the bag out it wasn't full.
When I hear that sound now, I open the CT up, pull out the bag, push the collected stuff down into it, clean the opening and its good to go for more work.
Check the hole and bag, bag might not actually be full.

This; the dust can cake up and block the opening to the bag.

I've been using mine with the festool ct cyclone for domino's and such, and combo works pretty well and helps how long it takes for that "hole cake" to form.

Thanks fellas. I think I might be overworking my little CT SYS a bit and that might be why it's getting plugged so often. I might just have to haul my 26 out of the garage but I will try out the cyclone in the meantime. My buddy has one and can lend it to me for a bit.
