Hi

The discussion about the sys maxi for the beltsanders came up in a poll so I thought I should share this.

This is how you can fit a BS75 in a Sys2 t-loc. You do have to bend the cord to be able to fit the tool. It even leaves some space for the bench-unit and some spare papers. If you wand to fit the dust-bag (where I put the spare paper) you'll need a sys 3.

So the new Midi Systainer should hold the BS105, and the BS75 would fit easily.

In the last 24 hours I've been trying to convince myself that a couple of Sys Maxi 2's would be ideal for storing planes and other large tools [embarassed]

Although you can order the BS75 in various configs from cardboard carton to set here in Oz, the BS105 only comes in as a complete set.

Go on Kev you know you want one! It's only a matter if time before your mental pressure gives in and tells you to go buy one  [popcorn]

I always use my BS75 with the sanding frame. And I always leave the frame attached. The sys2 seems to fit the BS75, but without sanding frame. You would at least want to go for a SYS3 which might fit the frame in the box as well. The sanding frame is the major thing with the BS75, IMO. If you'd like me to do some testing (before you buy) I could try to fit everything in a SYS3.

I don't travel with my tools. But I use the systainers for everything anyway to keep it tidy. The BS75 lives in a drawer without the box, though. I't my only Festool tool that lives outside of the box.

I'll ship you one over if you would like? No hassle at all. I'll be glad to able to help a fellow kool aid drinker  [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

+1 sanding frame, and I'll even start a fire and say it isn't nearly as useful without the frame. I've got it in the Maxi. It isn't a tool that I carry all the time, I don't mind the extra space it takes up when I do need it. If I'm bringing that to site, I'm likely spending at least half the day using only the BS and a VAC. It's good to know it fits though.
