Thought I'd post up a couple of quick pics of the job I'm coming to the end of. 6 wardrobes made from egger beige linen and egger porcelain doors. Really pleased with them. They've got internal drawers and led lights in the rails and some of the shelves have recessed leds.

Nice one! Which lit rails did you use?

It's a pain when using that egger stuff as it doesn't come in 12mm so you have to rebate the sides of the drawers for the under mount slides.

Any pics of how you did the switching and cables for these...I'm always searching for a better way as It can be a right pita.

Great, nice clean lines.

Where did you go for cutting an edging? I'm just setting an account with Meyer who are reasonably local and they suggested using egger with their cutting and lipping service. I was more pleased with their quote on 18mm birch ply Bb lacquered for £60+ vat cutting list going in tomorrow.

Good job

They're loox rails from hafele. I run all the wires ,all the sparks had to do was fit leds and pir sensors. I run grooves in the carcase sides for cables. Then sandwiched them between the next unit. It all runs into the loft space.

That colour beige linen only comes in 18 mm so the backs are all 18 mm too, bloody heavy :(

I've not made any drawers in mfc before. Had to work out a design and as you say you have to reduce the sides. I just trimmed 2mm off each side where the runner sits. Worked perfectly. I also had to come up with a plan for those shallow shoe drawers , pleased with those too.

It was a pain especially as hafele were useless. There's no instructions on how you run and connect wiring.

In the end I used the supports with 2 x 32mm spaced pins. They have a screw hole between the 2 pins I just drill through this and through the carcase sides. The cable then pushes directly into the rail through this hole. The wire then just run right to the top of the unit in a routed groove.

I normally use cutwrights in hanworth middx. I tried a new company this time recommended through Twitter. They're cheap and did a good job.
