Fitting the "y" fitting on the hose from the router table to the mini dust colle

I have the Festool CMS router table.  I can not connect my "Y" fitting on the dust collection hose to my CT mini.  The hose and cord garage does not allow me to connect the fitting to my CT Mini.  Does anybody have this same problem.

I have the CT Midi and also had this problem. I bought a length of 50mm pipe as per the link below. I cut off just enough to clear the hose garage. It is exactly the right size to fit the Midi but I took off the sharp edges to avoid damaging the rubber seal in the vac. This pipe is exactly the same diameter as the Y- adapter so couldn't be fitted inside or outside of it. I joined them using a few turns of Duck tape and it has held up ok.
