Another oddball designer cabinet.
2' high 4' Wide 1' deep Textured frosted glass inlay in top.  Matte Black finish inside and out to match front door.
I told her the drawer was gonna bind if not pushed straight in ahead of time.[attachimg=1]

Rob,
Nice work!  Thanks for sharing.

What material is it made from?  And, is it painted?

Thanks,  Mike A.

Yes it's SW Latex enamel flat black on birch ply.  I used a conversion varnish and sanded the shine off then sprayed another light coat of the CV to get just enough gloss on it so fingerprints didn't show every time it was touched.
Thanks for the compliments.  I did a much better one out of bamboo recently.  It's posted here as wine bar I think.

it's a 4 foot wide drawer frameless cabinet so I could only have 2 slides on it.  If i could've put a center slide on it it would have had less slop when pushing the drawer in.  This would've been a good opportunity for tandem undermount slides, but they aren't available in in 10".  If you don't push with 2 hands the drawer cocks crooked and binds.  This designer likes to do things that look good(to her) without regard for function so as long as it looks like what she wants it doesn't matter that it doesn't work smoothly...

Salice makes a  10" (250mm) under-mount slide. The adjustment is not as good as Blum Tandem but it's not a bad slide. Actually Blum Pro Value are made in a 10". The steel is a lighter gauge than the regular Tandem slides and the 4 way adjustment should be changed out for the better 6 way, but it's a good slide too.

You did a good job and it does look cool next to that door.

Is that CV clear or does it have some amber cast/color in it?
Tim

My go to cv is clear.  I have some enduro that's ambering, but I can tint my kem aqua any color and added some black on that to darken the paint a touch.
