Anyone have a piece of trim fly up and knock the hose connecter off ?
Happened to me some months ago, Festool sent me new retractable guard that got damaged.
The two bosses that the connector attached to were damaged, one broke, one disintegrated. I epoxied the one and rebuilt the other out of fiberglas bondo.
Held up until today. The "real" fix is replacing both halves of the blade housing (only$60) but really don't want to disassemble the whole saw for two small bosses. Anyone have a better product to mold and attach ?
