FOG 2013 Calendar - Submission Thread

I notice that one photo that I sent and, I believe, other photos sent by at least one other person have not been added to the set that appears by clicking in the first post in this thread.  I am waiting until these are added before I send my remaining two submissions.

If anyone else has submitted their images thru the email link posted earlier in this thread and they are not appearing in the slideshow, please let me know via PM.

We have received several reports of issues with posting images via the link posted earlier in this thread.  If you have an image that you want to be considered, please attach to an email it to me by clicked on this link:  fogtainer@gmail.com  .  If you have already sent me your images via my regular email then there is no need for you to submit again.

Once the deadline has arrived we will be uploading all the images received to the poll thread that will be established.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but I hope that everyone will submit an image or nominate an image here.  The images that I have nominated unfortunately will not make it to the poll thread unless someone else nominates them.  I forgot that Moderators were not able to nominate.  RATS!

Peter, you should go back and remove this from the first post in this thread:

Google Picasa has the capability to allow uploads via email. So, if someone emails to fogtainer@gmail.com and puts their FOG name in the subject line. It will upload to the URL below for public view and their subject will be the photo caption. This might be a lot easier for people.

I suggest that you change the rules.  If you want to make the change `legal ask for any objections to moderators making nominations and post a deadlines for objections -say 48 hours from now.  The moderators are in the best position to have spotted and remembered interesting photos that have been posted here.

No it didn't.  I seem to have the knack to come up with some ideas that just don't fly.  Honestly I don't know why.  Why wouldn't someone want to have pictures of a project they did be part of a calender that could be downloaded for free?  Or if their image was selected get a printed version?  Call me crazy.
