Good Morning Shane

Many of us would love to see a couple of shots of the FOG equipment and perhaps a few words to give us an idea of the resources needed to keep so many people away from normal life.

The FOG is a great resource and has helped me a lot.

Peter

One would have to think that the FOG would be in the cloud !!  [big grin]

Probably was this cloud on June 30.

But real reason was likely to have been -

Most Online Today: 473. Most Online Ever: 888 (June 29, 2013, 11:59 PM)

We use a hosting company and I doubt the equipment would be nearly as impressive looking as you might think. Probably a blade server with a cable running into it, like the ones shown on the right side of this photo which is an actual photo from one of our hosting provider's datacenters. [wink]

Peter,
We have a saying: "that is like the pot calling the kettle black"
when i was fumbling around to find another fix, I went to some of your You Tube demos.
you saved me from mental breakdown [not worthy]
Tinker

I am not sure whether I should be flattered or try and raise some money for your rehab!

Thanks Tinker.

Peter

Thanks for the picture Shane - gosh you must have a big basement to squeeze all of that in. When my guys set up a similar facility in a concrete bunker we soon discovered the kilowatts of heat generated by those racks of kit even with some pretty sophisticated cooling systems.

Does your wife go down and do the dusting from time to time or do you have a little green man for the job?

I'll take cash

Thanks guys - I now have a nice big smile on my face - perfect time for a G&T.

I notice that again, for July 4th. there was very high usage at levels of June 29 at midnight.
Could be a trend here?

I'm more than a little irritated with my hosting company. I've found another hosting provider and may be moving the forum. This is getting ridiculous.

Sorry for the outage guys.
