This project is going forward and it will be self funding.  What payment options would you like?  Your answers do affect the cost of the product to you as a group.

Thanks for your patience and assistance!

Which is the most cost effective option?  I'm guessing Credit card is the worst?

Paypal definitely for me. Followed by credit card.

Both are much more useful when it comes to international transactions.

As long as paypal takes a credit card(with NO paypal account). Depending on the type paypal account account you have the buyer may have to have a paypal account, which should not be mandatory for people that do not want to have a paypal account. If you use a business paypal account the buyer can skip the paypal sign up and just use any credit card through their processing.

Cash or check will be result in the cheapest overall costs.  Other than that I don't know yet.  I will start investigating based on the results.

I voted for Paypal, as it would be the easiest. The cheapest would be checks if your open to that. Thats what I would like.

I could send a business cheque, but I'm not sure if it could be cashed in the States ?
Paypal also good.

Check, money order, paypal, plastic, I can go either way. Are these coming out of Lebanon? Good excuse for a short road trip for me and pay cash. I'll do whatever you guys decide.
Sounds like we need at least two options though. One stateside and a second for the international guys so it works for them.

I haven't voted yet since I'm trying to figure out why you'd want any of the other options since Paypal seems to be a no brainer here. I'm sure there would be a very small percentage of people opposed to Paypay.

Makes sense and if its sent as a gift paymnet costs nothing to send and  importantly for the overall cost of the program to receive......(as far as I know)

Thanks for doing this!

I say Paypal, there are fees for you to accept, but I would just add that to my final invoice. Thats how they do it on another forum.

So its the cost of the item (inc shipping)  + 0.30 + 3%

I'll be the one guy who says that PayPal is not any where close to my first choice!  In fact, I often avoid retailers who only accept PayPal.  I have an account, but since it use it so infrequently, I have less than $1.00 as a balance.  That means I have to wait days to be able to fund the account.  Invariably, I only want to buy something on the weekend when I have time to look, which is a total pain for me.  Maybe I missed the boat and it's easier now, but I've always found it to be more of a hassle than it's worth.

Credit Card or a check is my vote.

I get "points" for all of my credit card transactions.  Over the last three years, that's returned more than $2,000 to my pocket and subsequently purchased a new fancy TV for the wife and a very nice grill and some tools for me!

Check or money order is easy.

What's a check? I have not used  any checks for my checking account in the last 5 years. Actually, I never purchased any checks and do not have any physical checks for any of my accounts. It has helped my home and business accounting ten-fold since only using debit cards.

As a seller on the internet Checks and money orders are are not easy, the checks are  huge hassle and I gladly will pay the 2% rather than get checks, wait for them to clear(in some states I have to wait 21 days!) and then explain again and again to the client though they paid 30 days ago they have only been on my wait list for 7 days.

Pay by check and you may have to wait 2-3 weeks until you get the item you purchased. If one guys bounces a check that alone is not worth the hassle for the person selling.

If you have a paypal account you do not have to wait to fund the account, you can use a credit card through your paypal account. Just add your credit card(or debit card)to the profile, make the purchase and then delete the credit card from your file if you do not want to let paypal keep the credit info.

I no longer have a paypal account, but I would take two if you can take credit cards through paypal, Amazon Pay or Google check out without having to have one of their accounts, again they all offer that.. Making people get a paypal account should not be mandatory.

I definitely want to be able to provide at least two options and take care of our international friends.  They will be shipped out of Richmond, Virginia.  All the product will be shipped to me and then taken to be customized.

I have a business debit card but, I prefer to write checks.

I write countless checks a week at the lumber yard and what not.

Money order is pretty easy as well.
