I live in a more civilised place than Woodguy, but like the sweatshirt/hoody idea.

Rick,

I'm not sure Nottingham counts as 'civilised', does it? [poke]

It never quite recovered from the Sheriff and Prince John alliance did it?  [eek]

Given recent events Peter, I might suggest a ( in conjunction to other requests for hats/visors) a full face American Football Helmet,  [doh]  ;D
but I would probably go for an apron, though it would be used more in the kitchen...... being a more manly design than my current stripey one [embarassed].
Good to see you back Peter.  [big grin]
Rob.

Hey Mac

There is nothing wrong with Nottingham, its a great place, anyway in JRB's part of the world they still eat missionaries!! [scared] [scared] [scared]

No! That's a misconception, it's just that the bacon is served so thick one expects a pop-up missionary to start preaching about gluttony!  [laughing] [laughing]
Missionaries don't have enough fat on them. ;D [wink]

my FOG wear list would be
1. tee shirt - long tail as stated earlier.
2. Long sleeve tee shirt - long tail.
3. Hooded sweatshirt.

I like the hooded sweatshirt idea as well. Plus a t-shirt and/or polo shirt. Preferable color would be black or Festool blue.

I don't think this is possible but I always thought this would be awesome.

A army style (That's what we call it anyway) material belt with Festool or "FOG" printed on it. You could have like "FOG" printed on the metal and "Festool owners group" printed on the actual belt.

I know it's a shocking picture but it shows what I mean. Oh and I apologise for brand advertising.

Glad to see you back in the saddle Peter.

OOOH  WANTS! :-) I'd most certainly buy that.

Also something like these, but FOG-branded: http://www.idealtools.com.au/images/super/polo-shirt-1.jpg

Welcome back to the land of the living Peter!  We missed you.

+1 on the Duluth long t-shirts.   Having met me in person, you can imagine how scary my plumber's butt would be. [eek]

Jess, don't be so hard on yourself,
I'm sure you have a lovely butt.  I pray to God never to see it, but I'm sure it's charming.

Peter, what about a bandana, just so Honeydokreg can upgrade from the stars and stripes..?
Goodidea!  I could switch up now and then!

Regarding idea of FOGwear is intriguing and some of the suggestion have stirred a little interest.  My suggestion is a shirt.  A henley style to be exact and instead of long or short-sleeves make them 3/4 length.  The old guys like myself that don't stand quite as straight as they once did and who's arms length don't ever match the neck sizes would make it a great compromise.  If they come a little longer then it could be worn as an over shirt as well.
Just an aside to all you regular contributors:  Thanks.

How about something for women? Maybe then they will not be so critical when a systainer or two shows up?

How about ladies' pyjamas? Then we would all have something attractive to look at when we go to bed.

[oops]

Ladies shirts have been considered.  Thongs - NO!  Not enough space for a logo  [big grin].  Other under garments - doubtful - even as a joke!

Dog bandannas are a good idea.  Kreg could retro fit one for his own personal use.  [poke]

If Kreg sees this thread he might get an idea for beadboard wear.

Keep the ideas - serious and humorous - coming!

Smiling in VA.,

Peter

PJs is a cute idea.
Two options for PJ designs:
"My man has $8000 in tools, and all I got was these lousy pajamas!"     [wink]
Or:
"My man has $8000 in tools, but I have combed fleece"

On a serious note:
> T-shirts always welcome

> I really like the idea of a 3/4 sleeve Henley style shirt.  It would be unique from almost all other tool maker's clothing options.

> For goodness sake, carpenter's aprons!  The 2008 promo apron is fantastic (yes, I know it's a Bucket Boss make), and I use it all the time.. which is wearing it out.  Utilizing Duluth's latest fireman's style apron, a FOG apron would be super sweet.

I love the idea of FOGwear, I would be up for polo shirts etc.

One thing I would really like is a hi res jpeg or similar of the FOG logo.

All of my workwear is logo-ed up with the company logo to qualify for tax purposes. It would be great to add the FOG logo as well to complement it.
