For my UK brethren... CMS 55 Insert

Not sure what you are referring to Alan (the one leg comment). Here is a pic of my VL legs.

In fact it looks like I would be able to mount it but it would be unsupported on one side. Maybe I will build my own blade holder.

I see what you have there, but I don't think it is wide enough to span across the mft leg, it is designed for the cms-ge leg which fold down from the front edge. However, having looked at the image a little closer, I think it might snap around/onto the tubular parts and have enough support on just one of the legs

Hi, I'm a new member and I just wanted to check something with you guys first. Forgive me, if I'm mistaken, but I don't think the CS50 Stopper will fit the MFT/3 or CMS-VL, you will need the CS70 version. Also the saw blade holder may not fit on the VL either, as there is only one leg and no crossbar to attach it to.

Regards, Alan

Hey Alan,

I dont know about the VL unit. Either way the stopper is the bomb. He'll sort it when He gets here.

Hi, i have the cms ts55r module (yes it is a different module parts wise to the ts55) and my advice is to try it before you buy it, it can be a nuisance having to remove the saw for some work then replace it back again. Be better if it had more depth so the ts75 version would be better as the table thickness takes up 5mm or so anyway. I have the extra bigger fence on the right of the blade, but it's not great, as the back end clamp tightens out of alignment easily and is very difficult to align parallel with the saw. Takes a while to get it correct each time. I curse at it a bit and use some pre cut blocks to help when aligning it parallel. For the cost, weigh up if it is your best option as you probably could get a dedicated small table saw for close to same price and you keep your ts55 saw free to use. Another thing is the Cms table is of a light weight, so it can move a bit if you are pushing heavy timber through it. The rubber feet help but I find it does still move a bit, be fine if you're cutting small sized timber. Also, it's a bit hard get the blade 90 to the table, so all in all try it and see if it works for you first. I got mine at a good second hand deal and was intending on getting the router module also so i can sell my old saw and router tables and get some space back in my garage. Not so sure now.
