For those who own a swiss army knife and wondered how they were made

Peter   That was great and interesting, but you have the ultimate Swiss knife if I remember correctly...Hope you are using in alot, it has to be cool to have one     [smile]

Actually one night last week the Discovery Channel had a 15 minute spot on the Swiss Army Knife and its production,
what surprised me was how much of the production still took place by hand.

Sal,

Unless I am trapped near my computer table and have to reach up to get that wonderful knife to hack off my arm in order to save my life or someone in my family, I will never use that knife.

But I will look at it and smile and smile and smile.

Peter

peter have you it in one of those display cases with all the blades etc sticking out

Alan,

Nope.  It is sharing space in a mini Fogtainer inside a limited edition systainer surrounded by other wonderful reminders next to the world's ugliest systainer ( the light blue one - ugh!) on top of my Fogtainer with the melted bottom next the 1500 + pages of correspondence about the project.

Aren't you glad you asked?  [big grin]

One day I will make a proper display case.  But we have other fun projects to do first.  Just have to get off my rump and get going.

Peter

Peter  all of what you speak about ( goodies ) were richly deserved and well earned by you for all you did and continue to do

[thanks]
