When I opened the site this morning I received the same page that Alex posted, clicked on FOG logo and when right into site. ????

I always use this bookmark in FF on windows to go to the FOG, but now FF says the connection is not secure and I get to see this:
Try the link without the "www":https://festoolownersgroup.com
Now...if Festool would fix the redirect to force all traffic to the https URL.

I was aware that worked. But why does my link not work now while it did before?

Also, something's different with the fonts on the pages, a lot more bold.

For those who are seeing the odd screen, why don’t you try clearing caches, browsing history, the bookmark you have been using and then try again.

Just a suggestion.

[member=5277]Alex[/member] :  I'm working on implementation of the SSL certificates.  Due to the way the FOG was built, this isn't quite as simple as it should be.  Unfortunately, this is causing some issues with JS and CSS files not loading properly.  It is also causing some redirect issues as I load upgrades.  This is why your link isn't working as it used to.  I will get it all worked out, but I'm going slow so as not to lose any data.

Sorry for the issues.

It looks like there is an issue on that post.  I'll poke around in a bit.  I'm still working out some odd bugs that are nagging.  Thanks for letting me know.

Any news [member=50814]ScottW[/member]? The photos are still not available.

I am having odd issue using Tapatalk

If I open the app and click on unread I get a message with forum name, sort of an error message in a pop up window  but does not say error. I don’t see any posted messages

If I read the bottom few threads under new messages can click on the unread again and it seems to work.

I did this a few nights ago, it again did not work in the morning. Tried to use Tapatalk over a few days without success until I repeated the above an hour ago.

Same problem with TapTalk, is there someone looking at an actual fix instead of the above workaround ?

I'm not having the issue on my end, but I just installed Tapatalk today.  Is there a way for you to sign-out, then sign back in?  Just to see if the cookie needs reset.  Tapatalk is an external service, so I don't have a lot of control over this one.

My assumption is that this has to do with the forum upgrades and the SSL certificate installation.  Quite a bit was changed.  I did update the Tapatalk plugin this morning, but it seems that it didn't help.

Please let me know if that works at all.

Thanks,

Hi Scott
I am able to see the expected number of unread messages this morning. For the past week I had noticed this number appeared very low. I believe the problem I experiencing is now resolved.

Thank you

I also still have the issue with Tapatalk.

It seems to affect only the „unread“ section and mostly if I go straight there, without reading another thread prior.
Screenshot of the error attached.

I did try to clear the cache in the app, sign out and back in with both the Tapatalk account and the FOG.
No change.
