Hi,

I hope this hasn't been posted before, I just stumbled across this video.  [eek] [eek] [eek]

A very well, I'd say perfectly, executed Systainer modification: Soundsystem and power distribution including circuit breakers - truly high-end if you ask me, but see for yourself. I think the guy who made it, "ha bu", did an awesome job.  [eek] [eek] [eek]

NOT my video, NOT my Systainer mod.!

Kind regards,
Oliver

A number of people have done power hub and or radio systainers. But this is the first I have seen to take advantage of the attic lid.

Great attention to detail on this conversion, also good to see the build process being included at the end of the show video.

I really like this, so please understand that is the reason I'm being critical ...

Speaker enclosures should be flush - non negotiable.

Power outlets should be front facing. Imagine it being on a trolley.

Head unit under the lid [scratch chin] ... only works if it's at the top of the stack, but you wouldn't need it to be if it faced forward.

...

The effort and quality of this build is unquestionable, but all of the Systainer "use cases" need to be thought through before it'll be practical.

Now I want to see a Sys3 or 4 with a front facing video screen .. I think the bar has been raised. Did I hear someone yell out projector???

I think keys right about the speakers ,
Still a really nice job though
Love the attic lid ,nice touch

I kinda like how the radio is facing up. I know mine is always by itself so typically on the ground. Nice that you can walk up and have access.

But the downside is the attic lids are not water tight, I stopped using mine as anything in there would rust.

I like the attention to detail/quality, it's well put together.
