Has anyone seen or heard from frank?  I looked and the last time he was active here was mid June. I know he traveled a lot for work, just checking to see if he is OK.

Frank appears to have been on the forum yesterday.  This was a similar thread a couple of weeks back.  I have no information on why he hasn't posted recently but do seem to remember some threads a while back that got a bit heated. 

Not saying that is why because I have no information on this.

I'm really worried about Frank.  He really loves the FOG.  I can't imagine him quitting cold turkey.

The last time he was on here was yesterday.  But he didn't say anything.  Who knows if it was even him?  When I checked a week or so ago he hadn't been here since the end of August.

The last time he posted was June 19.  On June 13 He indicated that he was in Nigeria.  Boko Haram is in Nigeria.  ISIS is now in Nigeria.  And there is a third group, can't remember their name, that kidnapped an American missionary this year.  We also know that Frank likes to roam the country taking pictures.  He's shown us many of them.

Three Americans have been kidnapped and released in Nigeria this year, presumably after ransoms were paid.  The missionary and two oil workers.  Kidnappers probably like oil workers.  Oil companies have deep pockets.

Well that's the sum of my google skills.  Now I have to sit here and decide whether to post my paranoia or just delete it.

You could just take a look at the forum he has in his signature and see that he is still posting there (as recently as yesterday). Nothing to worry about.

I would guess that he is ok.  After speaking to many members, and also witnessing posting behaviors of many over the years, sometimes the joy and excitement of participating is taken away thru something that happened or is happening here on the forum.  I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't the case here.

I am not in any way criticizing Frank.  I am hoping that he will post again.

  Don't feel dumb at all. It's really nice that you were that concerned, genuinely, since he's known to operate in a dangerous area as a pilot.  [thumbs up]
