For Sale. BenchDogs Quad MFT Hinge System with the 346 Hole Jig (Northern VA).

I purchased this kit in 2022 — I took it out of the box just today and bored the holes in a brand new MFT/3. I planned to set-it-up in a specific room that I installed lot’s of power in, with the three MFT’s connected along their long edges. As such, I was opting to use the FS 1400 Guide Rail and screw me … when I lift the rail, it hits the basement ceiling. It would have been fine if I kept with the FS 1080 guide rail but the FS 1400 won’t work given my sub-7’ bulkhead. And I bought this for a specific use case — that won’t work for me.

The lock-up on the “pin” is dead-nuts-accurate/tight. Small/micro-adjustments are possible by loosening the screws, repositioning, and tightening the screws. Peter Millard did a video on these, as did Jason Bent (my inspiration), and many others on YouTube.

If you buy it new from the manufacturer, it’s selling for $248 plus $40 shipping from the UK ($288). I believe $200 is extremely fair. I’m a real person — I’m happy to FaceTime with you to reassure you that I have the items for sale. I’m inside the beltway and not far from the Woodcraft in Springfield, VA. Note the box in the background; it’s the original shipping box. Just today, I opened the parts bags with another member from the forum — we used his 20mm bit to bore the holes in the MFT and assemble the parts.

Thanks for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Rich
