Hi, Welcome to the forum! [smile] Yes, it works for 8' cuts if using the TS55. If you have the TS75 you will probably want the 118" track. The 106" is just right for the TS55 on an 8' cut. I prefer using the 118" to have a little extra wiggle room convenience when setting the rail. Seth

It allows you to not concentrate on "do I have enough" on one side or another. It also allows you more flexibility if you have to do an angled cut. Peter
