Wanted to write a quick review on the Fuji Spray T75 gravity gun I used for the first time this weekend.  I purchased this gun to replace the Turbineaire gun I have. I am using it, at least temporarily, with my existing Turbineaire turbine.  Here's a few specifics:

Needle set used:  1.0
Finish:  General Finishes High Performance (waterborne) satin finish
Wood:  White Oak
Stain:  General Finishes Java Gel
Coats:  3 (didn't have any sanding sealer on hand so this was only finish on top of the stain); sanded with 600 grit between coats

Results were quite impressive- finish was applied very consistently across the blanket chest- much better than my old gun.  The other thing I liked is that no air is passed through the gun until the trigger is pulled.  This was my first use of a gravity gun, so I had to rig up a temporary way to hang the gun- a heavy cord ran between the legs of the sawhorse worked for this one project- I'll have to devise something better for future uses.

I have not used any of the other current systems on the market (Apollo, Earlex, etc) for a comparison, but I can tell you I'm very pleased with the results and I cannot wait to pair this up with a Q4 turbine in the future.

Many Thanks to [member=4105]tjbnwi[/member] for recommending the T75 and to Jeff at Homestead for his help in assuring I had everything I needed to work with my existing turbine.

Regards,
Gerald

I use the Fuji cup gun on my mini-mite 3 stage and it works great.  Lots nicer than any other gun I have use.

They all have a form of cup so what are you talking about?

Bill,

I believe Jim is referring to a bottom feed Fuji-most probably the T-70.

In this galaxy, a long time ago most guns were siphon bottom feed guns. They were referred to as cup guns.

Ah, I see!

So given a choice today, would you go for T70 or T75? Which is better suited to adding a pressure pot?

Bottom feed is easier/better for pot connection.

Gravity feeds will use all of the material in the cups effortlessly, on a bottom feed you may have to fit the gun upside down to use every drop of fluid. Gravity feed clean easier, the flushing material will flow via----gravity.

I have 2 X series gravities, T-70 bottom feed and have a T-75 in a shopping cart, may get a smaller pot instead (I'm so confused).
