Thanks for reminding to watch this.
The 3D modeling and animation of the unfolding of the 18th Century Game table really gives you insight into how this table was made.
I think that along with the video talks by curators for this show along with a library of others (e.g. Duncan Phyfe exhibit), the Met is doing a great job of online education.

It's crazy to think this was executed entirely with hand tools.  No Festool or Felder!  [blink]  There are probably craftsmen of their caliber alive today but not many.  Maybe David Marks could be inspired!
