I have some good friends who recently moved to LA that are looking for furniture repair options. They were previously living in Jakarta and bought some teak furniture for their dining room. Then they lived in Stockholm for three years and it "fell apart" as they tell me. I'm guessing it was the change in moisture content.
Anyway, they aren't handy but wanted to hire someone to fix their furniture. I said I'd reach out to see if anyone in the LA area would be interested in taking on the job. Or if anyone has a recommendation of a trusted company/woodworker.
There furniture isn't museum quality or antique and I'm not sure exactly what they need repaired. It's not Ikea furniture either. It's just decent furniture a young family would buy when getting started.
I appreciate all the help you can give me.
Thanks,
Shawn
