While they rated the Fuji Mini-mite 3 as a best buy and best overall, they also rated the Apollo 835 and Ecco 3 as best overall...confusing but there is some good info for anyone considering a turbine HVLP system.

Not sure why, but I can't find this article.  I've been using an American Turbine 953 stage HVLP spray system for a few years.  I am just not satisfied with the finish quality (looks a bit homey) but it's better than a lot of finishes I've seen.  I am a professional painter and am going for a finish that is like William Ohs cabinetry, etc.  People are telling me that turbine systems like the Apollo 5-stage Precision would work great, then I hear that it's a mistake and I need a compressor and great HVLP gun.  Portability is a semi-issue as I am small, but quality trumps.  This said, I certainly can't transport anything over about 30 - 40 pounds unless I make my husband do even more work for me

It's a big file that might take a while to load. Be patient.
