Plan to make a new door outside for my shed and want to use hardwood. The idea is to have vertical boards (approx 8cm width) on the outside for a clean look and on the backside the supports and to connect all. I have been thinking about what would be the best way to connect the boards together. Options, flush against eachother and only connected by horizontal/diagonal boards on the other side. Or connect them with Dominos or other options? How will it survive harsh wheater/temp/moisture and not bend too much or create gaps?
