Hi All,

I'm Mark from Derbyshire, just recently made my first Festool purchases, unfortunately, for the bank account, I can feel an addiction coming on.
Love them already.

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

What did you buy?

Seth

Thanks for the welcome.

Hi Seth, a TS55, Ctl Midi, and a RO150 sander.
The dust extraction is amazing.
Cheers

Hey,

Jimmy from Oxfordshire here.

Been reading this site for a while and thought it was time to join in now as my festool collection is growing!

I buy all my festool gear from Axminster in High Wycombe.

We need more people from the UK to declare that they exist rather than just lurking in the background. That is the only way that Festool UK can be persuaded to see the FOG as a viable entity and a useful conduit to the UK tool owning fraternity.

Come on, do it now, tell us who you are - this might, one day, mean that there will be competitions sponsored by Festool UK.

I would encourage someone to start a similar thread for Europe as a whole, for Australia and New Zealand and perhaps a ROW one as well.

But for now, if you are a UK person and have not put your head above the keyboard then summon up the courage to out yourself (in the Festool sense) now.

Peter

Hi Everyone,

I'm from the South East and was a lurker here for quite a while before using the knowledge I gained to tart making my first Festool purchases. Started with a TS55 and have recently added the Kapex 120 with UG kit, Rotex 90, CMS with OF1400, Domino 500 and a Midi Vacuum.  With a £50 voucher just arrived I'm on the prowl for a new addition.

Hi all
I too am a long time lurker now new member in the south east. Just started the festool addiction with a MFT3, TS55EBQ and rails, RO90dX  and OF1400. Fitting a kitchen today.
I wouldn't mind the odd competition either. What do we need to do? What percentage of those on the forum are NAINA.
Regards
Jools

Hi Kevin and Jools  welcome!

I'm not to sure what the videos need to be.

I think demonstrating and explaining the best features of a festool tool you like the most.......

So basically making some one wanting to buy the tools after they watched your video.

Hi Peter,
What do we need to do?

Hi Rusty,

I think that you have done it already - you have joined in and are visible. We need as many UK Festool owners to become active or at least visible here on the FOG.

Also, please tell your friends and workmates who are also Festool owners how valuable the FOG has become thanks to the participation of so many enthusiastic members, particularly in North America, and the fantastic efforts of the moderators.

FOG membership has increased my knowledge and my confidence using my Festool kit and I have been helped out time and again by input from others.

Well done JMBFestool for looking after this thread.

Peter

It's our dry sense of humour, it's NAINA, so we keep our stiff upper lips buried under our bowler hats whilst we drink our Pimms - or so they think. Me? I like a nice Belgian beer...how very British.

I have learnt SO MUCH from this forum, and given I've had Festool gear for years now (well, a TS55), it's funny how little I knew. I have more gear now, and yes, I have a problem.

Hi folks from the very south eastern part of the uk.... Three steps to the left and I'll get wet feet!

All I know is that Peter Parfitt has a lot to answer for..... Every time he makes a video it costs me a fortune  [big grin]

I just hope he never reviews an Aston Martin or a Porsche 911!..

I am having a great time reviewing the posts here and learning something new every day.  great to see what other FOG members are up to.

Best regards to all

Jeff

Wanted to officially lend some weight to the GB Crew.
So here I am, based in Central Scotland at the foot of the Ochil Hills.
Thanks for the huge knowledge base.
It's one of Festool's greatest assets!!
Scott

I need to get adding some names to the main list.  A lot of UK members are springing up on Fog.

I have fallen behind!
