Has anyone tried using the gecko and adapter to cut cut prefinished maple ply? How did it work?

Thanks

A little late for a reply, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Had to remove the 1/4" panel so the HVAC guys could access the blower so they could hook up the duct work...But I needed a way to put it back.  Enter the geckos!

A bead of caulk on the panel perimeter, micro pins and done.

Kitchen designers rarely design these things in.  It always starts with a proactive phone call to the designer that ends with "can't you just..."  [big grin].  I've almost got him trained...

Just something you have to work around as a kitchen fitter.

I had the Gecko's and often use unfinished ply.  They did not hold.  Gecko's hold on laminates, glass, etc.

Hey I tried it on ply but found it can be a pain to set up with a rail, but... all is not lost I do stick it to the side of my full sheets for carrying, works awesome.
thx

I use it on pre finished birch with the parallel guides...it also makes it easier to carry my cabinet boxes around when done.
