Why don't you do what Woodpeckers does for one time tool?  Have a dead line to pre-order and pre-paid with paypal.  The only problem is what if by the dead line and you don't have the minimum number of set you need to order.

I thought about that however I don't feel right taking a bunch of $$ from folks up front. There is another thread on here (you may/may not have seen it) for some dogs I designed and it has taken a lot longer than expected to get them made. I don't want to get anyone upset if there is some unexpected issue, nor do I want to have to refund a lot of deposits.

I am inclined to take the leap unless I get a lot of "whoa that sounds expensive" responses to my query.

who makes the t track you have shown? I'd pay for the bracket to be ready to mount to that exact track.

Another FOG member (with more time and resources available  [wink]) had indicated they were working on the same idea and planned to make them available commercially. Since this stuff is an after-hours hobby for me I decided not to pursue it further at this time.

I can't say more but I would expect an announcement at some point.
