Just a quick note to express appreciation for the sharing within this community. I'm not one to spend a lot of time (any) on social media, by far the FOg is my platform of choice.

I do consume a ton of video on YT and am always impressed and humbled by those makers doing great work with very limited resources. Folks with an angle grinder, corded 3/8" drill, claw hammer and hacksaw doing excellent work is very impressive.

In any case, thanks to everyone who contributes here. Hope you are all enjoying some time with family and friends.

The same to you Richard and thanks for all the detailed and informative posts you have made over the years. Happy Thanksgiving

Yes it’s a great forum and community.

Happy Thanksgiving, to all you great people across the water.

Today is an appropriate day to say a huge thank you to so many here.  Five years ago today I was going thru my last 10 hour chemo session.  Thru my adventure and recovery the Forum and the Members here were vitally important to me.  Throw on top that many here contributed financially to help keep me above water and also took time out of their busy lives to send me encouraging messages and check in on me; well, sometimes just saying THANK YOU! seems so inadequate.  But please do know that I remember and will continue to every Thanksgiving.

Reading Peter’s response...we ALL have a lot to be thankful for...some because of their genes are able to fly under the radar for their life while others must endure the consequences of their gene pool immediately.

Life isn’t fair but we need to deal the deck of cards we’re all handed. In the family tree, I have longevity in spades but I also have other issues to deal with, nothing serious but certainly debilitating in the long run.

I’m not a religious person but I am a thankful person and I thank God every day for what I have. It’s something to reflect on for the holiday season.  [big grin]
