Just got off the phone with my German dealer while sitting waiting to leave Nigeria. Have to go to Dubai for a week, and then back to Germany for the last time to move my family back to the USA.

Ordered a TSC55, BHC and PDC which will be waiting for me when I get to Germany on the 15th! [tongue]

They are on a 10% sale right now in Germany for the BASIC versions until July, but the additional benny is that Festool is including (2) 4.2Amp batteries with each BASIC unit as a bonus!  AWESOME!

That being said, they also come with a 220V Euro TCL3 battery charger...and they are immediately for sale so I can use the funds to purchase 110V TCL3's for the USA. Any takers??

My dealer will also be delivering an ASA5000 boom arm and energy box to my house on June 1st...just in time to be packaged up with our household goods by the military for shipment to the States.  I figured out how to mount the boom in my shop and will actually save a lot of electrical work. In the end I'll spend about $500 over what it would cost me to have 220V and 110V outlets and an additional subpanel installed in the shop...and I get FESTOOL excellence in the process!

Bringing 10 more Toolies with me in June to the U.S.  I'll post them here when I'm back.

Still making up my mind whether to buy a Conturo Edge Bander as a last purchase before leaving. I'm sorely tempted!!

Bunch of other NAINA smalls as well, but holding off enough funds to purchase the Dominos before the U.S. sale ends!

Green Fever!! [scared]

Cheers,

Frank

Did anybody tell you YOU SUCK?! But in a good way, of course...
I'm jealous of your ability to pick and choose between countries and programs.

[not worthy]

Then again, if I could do that I'd probably be broker, I mean BROKE-er!

You owe us pictures when you get home. Especially on the boom-arm!

You will be very happy with boom arm. The price is ridiculous, but the functionality is out of this world. I saw one of these while I was in Amsterdam a few years ago and have been wanting one since. If you have the room this is the solution for power cables and vacuum cords getting in the way. Some of them even have compressed air hookups I think.

All Frank is going to be missing is a robotic assembly wing to his workshop ... at least I think he hasn't got one [eek]

I'd be sorely tempted by the Conturo, but I'm hoping they'll do something a little more impressive for a station than the MFT cutout - maybe something more UG Cart and extensions like. I'd also like to see a capability to hot melt facing arcs ... yeh - I don't want much [cool]

Enjoy Frank [wink]

I'm jealous, I bet Frank is going to be the first in North America with a PDC, TSC55 and BHC.

Congrats  [smile]

Congrats  [smile]

I bet the government satellites are already monitoring his house as a potential illegal cyber technology lab ... all of that lithium powered digital tech [scared]

Frank confessed to me that he no longer backs up his computers. He figures that the NSA already has his data and if he loses anything he'll just ask them for a copy!

[censored]

I'm less worried about NSA monitoring than I am about getting caught downloading the latest episode of Game of Thrones every Monday off the net while I'm overseas! [crying]

Some addictions are worse than others, and that's one of the worst. I go through nine months of painful withdrawal after each season's finale! [sad]

The two other $$ addictions are Festool and Canon! [eek]

In Dubai at the moment, looking forward to Tuesday when I go back to Germany and pick up the GREEN stuff! [big grin]

Cheers,

Frank

Frank

Your house in Florida is going to be the demo area for all of us that drool over the NAINA Festool goodies.  What good is being a pilot if you can't bring over a cargo plane full of goodies for your closest pals!!  [big grin]

The boom arm!?  Awesome Frank.  Lucky guy.  Cant wait to see photos.
