I have never had to do this before so what I need to know is what type of glue is best for:

1) P.E. to P.E.
2) P.E. to MDF/Plywood

The material is 1/4" thick and sold under the brand name of Slick, I am hoping to make a fence for use with my EHL 65 when used in the table attachment and some stops for the parallel guides.

Any advice appreciated.

Rob.

Thanks Peter, I was thinking contact adhesive at first, but I want the p.e to be bonded accurately in the same plane as the substrate, something that can not be guaranteed with the nature of contact glue.
I found an american suppliers site that alluded to it being possible to glue but neglected to say how and with what [blink]
The guys at my UK supplier had no idea, to them it is just a jig making accessory, so I'm still sort of 'unstuck'.  ;D

I wonder how permanent double sided tape is, and further, why don't they sell the adhesive used for it in a bottle? [huh]

In a past life I was a PE fuser for the natural gas utility.

If you had an iron that goes to 350-500 deg maybe you could fuse the PE to PE  [big grin]

I wonder if.....
1) Suzy's new steam iron would get that hot
2) the 13amp fuse will let it.
3) I will survive the first attempt................If you knew Suzy, like I know Suzy [eek]

Gonna try some spray glue first when I find a local supplier, whatever I end up doing I shall post for reference.
Thanks guys.
Rob.
