Hi Guys,

I was just messing around with google maps and thought I would post the link for you to see my place. I'm in South Africa so please excuse the mud hut

Open the link and just double click on the photo in the left corner. Maybe you guys could post your house of work shop aswell.... If its not considered to much of a security risk.

My work shop is at the back of the house in the double garage.

Cool idea, don't think google maps goes in close enough to my house as i am kinda remote but i will check.

Same down a private road so only a view from above is possible not from the front up close.

I wouldn't bother Alan, if like most crofters in the far far north of Scotland your wee sheiling is roofed with sods of earth, then your gaff will be invisible. ;D

Yip security is a problem here, we have been broken into once already and had people jump the big wall on the left from the semi's next door. Actually caught the one hiding in the bush at the back when he robbed some guy in the street in broad daylight. Needless to say but when I pulled him out I wasnt a happy chappy. And the police didnt go easy on him either.

The Google car came around our way about 12 months ago, I think. Drove up & down every single street in our area, with one exception - ours! So the best I can do is the view from the end of the street...

We're about 3/4 of the way down on the right. In fact, if you zoom right in, you can just about make out the skip outside...!

I hate the look of the house the bricks are crap but hey cant have everything!

Im doing it up I have started from top down!  Redid large part of the roof and barge board and facia sofit and valley ridge.    Working my way though the house and garden  in my spare time!

It's good to see everyone at least has tared roads to use When I first got on to yahoo chat waaaaaaay back when, people didnt believe I was in south africa, They said how can a hut have internet and how often did I see lions near my place !!! I thank CNN for that.

haaahaaa you to old guys!

top right you will see a little Chain icon next to a printer icon and email envelope icon   click on the chain icon and you will see  two boxes one for email one for web embedded   highlight and copy and past the email link on onto here  it should be already high lighted  when you click on the link icon
