Yesterday I received my Rolair JC10 shipped by Toolnuts. The packaging was in best shape and the little compressor in mint conditions.

It was delivered by UPS, same guy that got me the beaten to death MFT boxes.

It looks like the Rolair package was opened at the store and secured very well.

I am only a customer sharing my positive experience with the group.

Cheers

I received mine a few weeks ago, and it was perfect. Best ,quietest little compressor I've ever used. First time ordering from toolnut and would absolutely buy from them again!

your gonna love that thing!  i've had mine for a few months now and its so nice not to have to listen to my old bostitch pancake.    i switched mid job,  the day i got it the homeowner i was working for came up to me, asked if i had gotten a new compressor and commented on how nice and quiet it is!

My compressor is in my open garage.  I often forget to shut it off when finished.  My previous compressor would wake up my next-door neighbor and she would come over the next day with fire in her eyes.  It seems she did not appreciate being awakned at 1 or 2 in the morning.  Since I replaced with the JC10, she doesn't even know i have a compressor.  I can't hear it if I'm 50 feet away from it.

Even tho the JC 10 is the smallest compressor I have used for my tires, it is the quickest to do the job on even my truck tires.  I hardly notice when it gets low as the recovery time is so quick.

Is this a redesigned JC10 from Rolair?

Wondering if this one from JCCayer in Canada is the same one and whether it is at a good price of $239 in Canada.

I was pondering between the Makita Mac 2400  and the Rolair JC10.
I realize, two different  compressor classes and both fit my needs.
I was 90% sold on the MAC but two things happen in between:

1. Rolair's VP made a statement in this forum that shows similar commitment to their companies like Robert Valley.

2. I had the chance to see the MAC in action an it was not too silent. I tried to compared the sounds to Dave's R review video and determined that the JC 10 is right for me.

I am a newcomer to this hobby and forum and I don't have to make a leaving out of it.
Probably will starve my family to dead.

After browsing many treads I was so confused about things that I had to follow the advice of a fellow from this forum, do and buy what is best for you.

I have a very analytical driven day job and JC would be my choice. I followed my instinct and got it, gosh it would have been a big miss.

My airbrush compressor is louder and I can even use my framing nailer at least 8 times before the JC10 starts. No jumping at all and, like the airbrush compressor, I can take it all over the house.

The best  210 USD I spent lately.

Cheers

Can't help myself sometimes.  I just ordered one from JC Cayer.  Free shipping and only $239 + Tax.  I've been eyeballing getting one for a few years now.

While I have a small oil CH unit I bought at Costco a few years ago that is way less heart stopping than the old 20 gallon oiless unit I also have, I still don't like to run it when everyone's sleeping.  This Rolair unit should do the trick for my nocturnal shop activities.  [big grin]

Great compressor.  Love mine, had it for about a year.

Mine has gotten a little louder over time...it's still pretty darn quiet for a compressor but not quite as smoothly quiet as it was when I first got it.  I wonder if there's something I can do maintenance-wise (it's supposed to be oil-less)?  I should probably give Rolair a call, but maybe someone here would have some suggestions.

My Dear Wife snores louder than the JC10.
OOPS! [oops] [oops] [oops] Who said that?
I never said that. [bite tongue]

Is the plastic tube still in place in the air cleaner?  If you moved the tube or it fell out, it will be noticeably louder.
