Some of you probably know Eric ([member=8352]erock[/member]) from his YouTube videos about Festool tools. He happened to be in my town this week on a business trip and I was able to catch up with him last night. Always great to meet folks in person and talk tools.  [big grin]

You would have to ask him. Our conversation was just fun and casual dude talk. I've known Eric for many years when he started posting here on the FOG and making videos. Good dude.

Yes, Eric did a great series of videos on building cabinets
and so many reviews of tools. I liked his style and presentation.
I miss his YT videos. Maybe someday he'll do some more.

[member=28223]SoonerFan[/member], thanks! I had the opportunity to go to the Mercedes museum in Stuttgart during my first trip to Festool Germany many years ago. Extremely amazing and engrossing to go through it. So much history and innovation. It's still one of my favorite experiences in my travels.

Funny... I drive an Audi, but I'm a Mercedes fan too in racing. One of my sons got that hat for me for Father's Day, so it also has great sentimental value for me.
