Thought I'd share a pic of a dresser that I recently completed and delivered to one of my grandsons. Nothing real fancy, mostly cherry with cherry ply sides. Secondary wood is maple. At present he can only access the lower 3 drawers. But I trust he'll grow into it.

... Nothing real fancy...
I don't know about that, I'd say "Real nice!"
Lovely proportions and appropriate detail; I'd be very proud to have made that.

As for reaching the upper drawers, Sammy may well learn to use the open drawers as a step-ladder, so make sure it can't topple over!

A job well done!  Both dresser and the picture will sure to be heirlooms

It looks great, nice work!  If you haven’t already, strap it to the wall.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. And yes, it is anchored to the wall as I was certain that he'd be climbing on it. He is a curious little guy and he will want to see those top drawers at some point. Thanks again.

Excellent job!! And I absolutely agree with [member=21249]RKA[/member]

An ounce of prevention -- strap it to the wall asap, before the temptation to climb sets in!

very nice. Im sure he will grow into being able to reach the top drawers soon.
