factory authorized outlet through their ebay store has a great deal on a new DeWalt 735 planer. It comes with the extra infeed and outfeed tables and an extra set of knives. They are an authorized dealer so it comes with the regular warranty as well. That's $449 plus free shipping.

You might want to check out Google reviews and BBB before placing an order. I was looking at an item they had for sale on their direct web site and decided to pass after I did a little looking.

Be sure it's new and not factory reconditioned. I paid more for the same planer new 10 years ago without the tables and the extra knives. Maybe it's just what it sounds like, but be sure. I don't know this company nor have I ever bought power tools on eBay.

Deals on the DW735 pop up around this price pretty regularly. Just watch Slickdeals.net for them and deals on tons of other stuff. Its legit. I picked up my DW735 when I had a couple years ago for $399. Considering Grizzly has the DW375 with the extension tables AND the mobile cart for $499 sometimes, this price isnt that rare or crazy of a deal. If you need one know this is the best deal you're gonna find. If you had jumped on it the first day it popped up you might have been eligible for the 8% eBay Bucks they were offering too. Always little ways to sweeten the deal more.

That's a great deal!

Item description says it's brand new, so I'm sure it is. Buying on eBay is easy as you are 100% covered, especially if you use Paypal for payment.

I had an issue with Factory Authorized Outlet a couple of weeks ago when they sent me what looked like a once or twice used Kapex blade. I called them and they immediately made things right by offering me to send a new blade right away or do a partial refund, my choice. I was very impressed with their customer service, given their BBB rating I expected I had to go through eBay's claim system to get my issue resolved.

Just my take on factory authorized outlet. I always pay with paypal, in case there is a problem.
However, I have never had a problem with them. I bought my dw 735 from them about two years ago and am very pleased. Also, bought dewalt nailers, staple guns, kreg jig and have never had a problem.
My only concern is if there is ever a warranty type issue, I am in Michigan and they are in California. So instead of dealing locally, I would have to deal directly with manufacturer. For the discount, I am willing to take the risk.

If you are near a Farm & Fleet, they have a new 735x which includes the infeed and outfeed tabels for $499 ... but you will also need to pay tax

Usually it does and usually they call that version the DW735X and it comes with an extra set of blades too.

However that set WITH the mobile base/stand can often be had for $499 from some places. Grizzly I know has done it quite a few times.

Yeah, deals come up quite often.  Really goods deals are scarcer.  Like week’s deal at $370, I posted about, was about the lowest I’ve ever seen.  Sold out quickly though.
