Hello,
I recently came back from my Third Festool training in Asheville NC with Gregory Paolini, Greg is a great instructor and Asheville is a great location to spend a few days. There's plenty to do there if your spouse or significant other wanted to come along.
Greg has shared so many tips and applications that despite me scouring Utube and even Festool sponsored videos I have yet to come across. There are hands on subtleties that Greg covers that make me appreciate my Festool collection even more.Greg does trainings in a classroom designed for teaching but as a student you have the added benefit of wandering into his custom cabinet shop, you can observe his craftsman at work, ask questions. His team has diverse backgrounds and decades of collective experience and they are so knowledgeable and willing to share. I encourage FOG members to check out some of Gregs classes
Best,
Chris

+1 for the Festool training with Gregory Paolini in Asheville.  I did the "Farm Table" class last year and it was excellent in all respects.  They do a great job and Asheville is a great location - worth the drive from Canada.

+1 on great classes, but I went to Henderson Nevada and worked with Steve Bace. Highly recommended, if you can get in.

I went there to , it was a great class except for this one guy....... [thumbs up]

Add me to the list of those complimenting Greg for running a great business and excelling in teaching all things Festool.
I took the Essential class because it was the only course available. Even though I have owned the Festool basics, Track saw, MFT, etc. I learned so many tips on how to set up he MFT to be square & how to use the tools correctly that I had never heard before even on YouTube.
I am signed up for the Router One course in 3 weeks and his Sculpted Stool course which is a Festool hybrid course, utilizing both traditional and Festool tools.
I am very fortunate in that I have a second home in NC only about 35min from his shop.

I finally had an opportunity  to be able to attend a Festool cabinet training session at the Paolini Design Studio a couple of weeks ago.    Reading many of the previous reviews I had high expectations.  The delivered training exceeded my expectations!  I am also an adult trainer in a different discipline and was greatly impressed by the training room preparation and attention to detail in delivering the curriculum.  Greg is a world class  expert on wood working yet he has the ability to take you as an individual from a basic procedure to a more advanced level.  I learned and observed numerous “better” ways to do things while having fun at the same time.    I really enjoyed the deeper technical insights that Greg was able to provide about tooling and wood science .  If you can make room in your schedule GO!

If you're interested in any of the Festool end-user training classes, be sure to register for email announcements of the classes.  When they're announced, sign up immediately; they often fill up in minutes.

Oh, North Carolina [embarassed]. I got all excited because I thought Festool were getting into numeric control.

I just met a fellow FOGer (Chris C)  in person and he said he's been to three of Greg's classes in his NC shop. Chris said not only is Greg top-notch as an instructor , but so are the staff members who work in the shop.

I think I can win the lottery before getting into a Festool class .
By the time I get the e-mail,it’s sold out . The Henderson area that is,its the closest to me.
I’ll keep  trying but losing hope.
