Guido often uses Wolfcraft tools, so I do think you are right with your anticipation.

Hi guys,
hope you all enjoy the video and workbench - it's perfect for woodworkers using both hand- and powertools.
As Ingo mentioned, the plans will be published in the next two issues of "HolzWerken" (www.holzwerken.net). It's not possible to buy the plans directly from me, but it's no problem to purchase the two issues (when they are available!) from this website / link:

The plans are in magazin number 37 (is soon available) and 38 (available in two months!).
They will also send to the US and any other foreign country. By the way:
The mobile drill press is a wolfcraft, but if you are looking for such a mobile press I would choose a drill press from WABECO. To use them you will need a drill with a 43 mm Euro-neck (sorry I dont know the right term in english). If you have a router-motor with this 43 mm Euro-neck you can also fix this to the press and you can use it as a small router table with a perfect look on the bit and what you are routing.

Guido [not worthy] (if you are keeping an eye on the thread) I wouldn't be surprised for Holzwerken to see a spike in sales over the next couple of issues. Your projects always seem to be well thought out, practical and hit the must have list for the shed.. there's a lot of your stuff on my to do list when I finally get out to the shed, might have to start with the "chaos theory" just to make space for the bench.

I have worked about two months on this project. I have started with the idea in mind and a rough sketch on paper, then I have made a detailed 3-D model in a CAD-Program (VectorWorks). The most important point was to find an easy way to install the saw guide rail, with normal hardware anyone can find in a hardwarestore. After that I have started to built the table and beside to make photos of every important step for the article. When the tabletop was finished I went on to the legs and cabinets underneath, this was the easiest part of the project.
Now I am thinking about some other add ons for the bench: for example to cut really small slices (for edge banding) using the guide rail - as you can do on a table saw.

I have a large Incra LS positioner laying around and I've been picturing what would be the perfect setup for a single do everything table...I have the double vise from Veritas sitting in a shopping cart online...
I'd imagine Guido's detailed build plans with his notes translated decently into English would sell for a pretty penny here in the states.
My German is quite limited I'm ashamed to say, I might have trouble following the details of the plans without translation...
If anyone is planning on offering the plans with his notes from the magazine translated to English, please PM me.

I believe they use Google translator but it is capable of quite large documents. I use it on Festool Germany's Holzidee magazine which i download..
