I'm working on a black walnut table top with some minor but notable fluctuations between the three glued-up panels. If I start sanding with my RO90 and finish with my ETS 125, what do you all think my grit progression should look like?

If you are trying to smooth out fluctuations, I would think the 90 would be inappropriate. I would think that small pad would create more problems than it would cure.

I’d stick with the 125 and go from 60 grit to 180 grit.

I have the RO150 and ETS 125 with a 150 pad so I can stick with 6" discs the whole time.  For table tops I use the Rotex in direct drive from 40 or 60 grit depending on the top and go up to about 150.  I then switch to the ETS and go BACK one grit (to say 120) and then go up to 220.

The OP said he only had the RO 90 and the 125. A 6” pad would obviously be the best choice.
