Hi everyone
I must of over tightened the grub screw on the Festool 492523 countersink and now the head has rounded off and I can't adjust the countersink part.
Thought I should be able to remove the old one but likely will damage it more when doing so. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement grub screw? Or what size I will need to order. I'm in the UK
Thanks

For about $9.00 Amazon has a 500 piece assortment of set screws, almost certainly driven by an Allen wrench, which it seems are included.

They offer both metric and Imperial assortments.

I don’t use the term “grub screw” but the Internet says it is the equivalent of a set screw.

A screen grab from the Amazon ad:

And my search: https://www.google.com/search?q=grub screws&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1-m

Been there and done that and my advice for a replacement is genuine Unbrako. At these small sizes the quality of the grub screw and the quality and type of driver is very important. Ball type drivers are a waste of time and a straight end driver is a must. I think what I did is used a splined driver and hammered it into the screw which then had the bite to get the grub screw out. A cheap set of 1/4 hex drivers can be had cheaply for the purpose but for Alan hex screws I use a Blue point set of drivers like this but conventional good quality drivers will do the same job.
