Has anyone themselves replaced the bearing (roller & bearing sleeve) that the guard lift arm (swivel lever) rides on?
I was wondering what kind of dog it is to replace. Mine went to junk today requiring way too much force to operate the saw.

For those so inclined POS# 70 & 76 on ekat

Does this mean I have to pull the blade housing completely off or can I work it open the 1/4" or so necessary?

I separate it. All of the "important" stuff is on the motor side of the cover.

There is one cap cap screw on the bottom rear that is a pain. It is silver, you’ll know it when you see it.

So the parts came in today.

Come to find out it is not a ball bearing as I had assumed. Guess that's what I get for assuming.
Coincidentally, I had a bottle of synthetic lube in my pouch and added a drop to it and it's like new again, however is still seems a little sloppy. Maybe I still need to change the bushing. I would love to be able to find a proper sealed ball bearing for it though!
