Guess who?

Bummer I could not make the thumbnail of the picture enlarge.

I know most of the Southern California dealers. Honestly in the photo I do not recognize either fellow.

Bob Marino, caught on bank surveillance video, from his safe cracking days.  [big grin]

I think it is Bob Marino from his Goodfellas days.  Now he is just a Good Fellow.

Yep, it's me...many moons ago at Jim Becker's shop in PA. I brought a bunch of the tools over for a demo; there were a handful of guys there and we all had a nice time. That's Jim cutting the board with the (then new) Trion jigsaw and me watching. Not exactly the most  flattering picture...but what the hay!

Same guy in 2009 at the WIA Conference, Valley Forge, PA (looks kinda mean  [big grin]):

John, you've got the date and place wrong, that was the look Bob had on his face for sometime after the recon sale.  So that picture must have been from this year. [tongue]

Or was it, his face, after Festool canceled the Carvex?

Nope, that face would have been of total surprise.

Oh, Greg, John and Brice, I almost forgot...Happy Mother's Day. ;) ;D ;)

Thanks, Bob, same to you.  [big grin]

Are you going to make it to the WIA this year? I also wonder if the Festool team is going to be there again.

I think the conference is even better now that they're allowing power tools in the hall.

Must have alot of Festool around to need a body guard. Looks like the hired muscle likes to drink Guiness

The body guard must have been for Sauer & Steiner. The plane held up to the camera was priced at $10,000!

Maybe I will go- just not sure at this time. I missed the classes last year and would like to attend at least one of them. I think as for dealers, they may have another Festool dealer there (Joel). The show in PA didn't have the Festool team there IIRC.

Anyone else have a candid shot of Bob. We have a good start here.

Hmmn, "good start here"? Really? Candid shots - just glad the Internet wasn't around in my dating years, as I'm sure there were some pretty candid shots taken. [scared] ;) [scared]

Bob, if you'll remember, they weren't allowing power tools on the showroom floor at the PA show (2009). You were thinking about exhibiting but they wanted to put you in a small room down the hall. You passed on that.

Things changed last year in Cincinnati (looks like their permanent home now) and Festool had a booth in the main hall. Shane even made a (brief) appearance.

The classes are definitely worth it.
