Does anybody know if the new DeWalt parts for guide rails also fit the Festool Guide Rails?
DWS5026 Clamps
DWS5027 T-square
DWS5028 Miter Gauge

Especially the clamps look handy to me because they can be used with one hand.

I not 100% certain but I believe the clamps, T-square and miter gauge do fit the Festool rails.

They do fit the guide rail.  The clamps don't fit into the MFT holes, however, because the corner of the L isn't rounded like a Festool clamp; it butts to a T.  Otherwise, I like the clamps for the rail since they are faster to use than the Festool clamps.  As I posted in another thread last night, the T-square attachment can be snugged for zero-play and mine at least is pretty much dead on (not measured with a square; measured measuring the sides and hypotenuse, which is better for a 24" crosscut).  I do not have the miter attachment, though it attaches the same way and should be similarly useful; don't know if it slips a lot like the Festool is reported to do (don't have one).

If you wanted to dedicate a guide to crosscuts, you could certainly get the T-square to be dead on.  It is machined out of one piece (or cast; dunno) so there are no attachments that can work loose later.

Only $30 for the T-square.  Can't recall the clamp price.

The DeWalts are apparently about $40 for a pair.

$37 here:  http://www.tools-plus.com/dewalt-dws5026.html

If anyone has these clamps (item DWS5026) can you please post the capacity?  I couldn't find anywhere online where the jaw capacity was listed.

Just as an aside, these Makita's are the spitting image of the Festool F-style clamps... except for the handles, which many people may prefer (better grip potentially?)

Sorry, meant to post this yesterday...

Clamp throat is 3 3/8"  Capacity 8 1/4"

I've got the  Dewalt mitre Guage and it does fit the festool rails. I have used it primarily for 90 degree cuts. Its a pain to get exact. I should have got the T-Square instead.

I was going to get the Dewalt quick clamps but managed to win a pair of festool quick clamps for 46 pounds including delivery.
