There are two units like that and you're right.  The raised panel sides are completely hidden from view.

were you concerned with corrosion taking place where the rifle barrel touches the rack, often called safe rash?

I talked to the people at the leather store and they recommended a sealant that I eventually used to spray on the leather.

My customer finally got some of his pistols displayed.  He's really happy with how they turned out...which means I'm happy.
