Thank you so much for the kind words.  It is greatly appreciated.  What started as a project with my wife for our study turned into a nice side business. I am very grateful to this site.  I have learned a lot about carpentry and Festool.  A perfect combo.  [big grin]

Your imagination seems to never end. Nearly every door (How many are there now? a few hundred?;-)  I have never counted) is different. i especially like the reclaimed wood doors.  Even those go beyond the differences in wood from one piece to another, but you manage to change the patterns of assembly as well.

NAH! He's a police officer. He gets to fires first, sets up so he can grab burnt pieces of wood, toss into his cruiser, goes home and whips off a door or two with the loot.

That last door is reclaimed wood with a coat of Danish Oil on it.

Funny story about work...I got into a foot chase with a theft suspect and came across a barn that was hidden by large trees. Barn was in rough shape and spoke to the owner about it...working out some details with it.  [big grin]

Another reclaimed barn wood door in the works.  Still have to wheel brush sand, Rotex with 220, then General Finishes Flat Out.  This client is getting a total of (3) reclaimed barn wood doors...two like this one pictured and one with glass...

Installed this past Saturday...another reclaimed barn wood door.

A large reclaimed barn door glass door in the works...still have some touch ups but the bulk of it is done...some light sanding (metal wheel, then 220) and finish coat...

Wire wheel cleaned, lightly sanded (220 grit) and now ready for customer’s top coat preference...General Finishes Satin or a Danish Oil.
